We look forward to hearing from you!

FAQs
Is there a specific time commitment I need to give for volunteering?
There may be some volunteer roles that could come in the form of giving some sort of talk during a meeting (about finances or legal resources or something like that) but for the most part we ask that anyone who sign up as a mentor or more long-term volunteer commit for at least one year.
Do I need to do any sort of clearances or trainings to volunteer?
Anyone who volunteers through Junket must have a background check conducted (which we coordinate). We are currently in development of training materials we plan to give volunteers so as those become available we will schedule those trainings.
Is my volunteered time considered an in-kind donation?
General mentor volunteering would not be considered in-kind from a tax perspective, but if you are volunteering professional services (tax preparations, tutoring, financial advisement, etc.) and would like to have your time quantified as an in-kind donation, let us know and we can do that.
