Giving Back

Each year we seek out ways we can have a hands-on role in assisting the community around us- whether through monetary support, physically helping someone in need or mobilizing others around a cause. Check out some of our previous giving back projects below!

  • 2023 : Donating Blood

On Nov 7th we donated blood at the New York Blood Center in Downtown BK as a way to give back to the community.

  • 2021 - 22 : Brownsville Youth Farmers Market

We designed reusable totes in 2021 and in the summer of 2022 we donated and distributed them at the Brownsville Youth Market.

  • 2020 : Grow NYC : Transforming Communities

2020 was a tricky year for a hands-on project due to COVID, so we donated to Grow NYC, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing healthy food options to New Yorkers.

  • 2019 : Beautifying Ft. Tryon Park with NY Cares

We spent the day harnessing our love for nature and helped make Ft. Tryon Park a little bit safer for the plants.

  • 2018 : Junket Care Cards

In 2018 our care card project provided support and encouragement to youth struggling with mental illness and navigating through hard times.

  • 2017 : 462 Halsey Community Garden

We are proud to say that we were able to walk through the whole (stinky!) composting process, from trash to nutrient-rich soil.

  • 2016 : Red Hook Community Farm

We lent a hand by sifting almost 60 cubic feet of compost personally, and 100+ cubic feet as a group!

  • 2015 : Foster Care Youth Reception Center, Virginia Residence

In May 2015 Mercy First Foster Care Agency commissioned Junket to provide the artwork and design for the new welcome center.

  • 2014 - 15 : Charity Water

In December of 2014 we helped fund a hand-dug well in Niushtey Sewhi, Ethiopia providing drinkable water for 150 people in their community.

  • 2011 + 2014 : Winter Wishes

In both 2011 and 2014 we provided gifts for the holidays for local kids in the community through the Winter Wishes program.
